The New Mexico Mounted Patrol is funded primarily through private contributions. Every dollar puts trained, equipped Troopers where New Mexico needs them most.

- Tuition, materials, range time, and instructor support for 400-hour recruit classes.
- Equipment
- Radios, body armor, medical kits, and operational gear for active Troopers.
- Vehicles
- Maintenance and outfitting of agency vehicles used in operations across the state.
- Community programs
- Public safety education, school visits, and outreach to under-served counties.
